SET THE STAGE FOR PLAY: 5 minutes

Adult Participation: Optional

Bowling Bonanza

Gather your pins and ball

  • Partially fill 5-10 empty water bottles to weigh them down. 
  • Choose a “bowling ball.”

Set up the pins

  • Find a clear space and arrange the bottles in a triangle shape, with one bottle at the front and the others behind it, just like bowling pins in an alley.

Let the games begin!

  • Stand a few feet away from the pins, take aim, and roll your ball towards them to knock as many down as you can. 
  • After each turn, reset the pins and get ready to roll again!

What’s in my Brain

Work together to collect items from around the house that start with the letter B (e.g., banana, bandana, basket, box, Band-Aid, book, ball, bunny, boot, broom etc.).

Place the found items in front of you and describe one of them without using its name (e.g., “You put this on your body when you have a boo-boo”).

The other players try to guess the item that’s in your brain!

Take turns being the clue giver and the guesser until all of the letter B items have been identified.
