A Special Playdate
Collapsible content
“My GrandMom” is all about special time spent with a special someone. Now you get to set up a playdate with a special grown-up in your life!
Decide on the person and date – maybe an aunt, a grandparent, or a family friend…
Take pictures throughout the day to document the little and big moments!
The author of “My GrandMom,” Gee-eun Lee, wrote her book to document her real-life experiences with her grandma. After your playdate, work together to create a “book” that tells the story of your special person and the places you went, things you saw, food you ate, and fun you had!
Print out your pictures, or use them to jog your memory and draw your own versions of the day’s highlights.
→ Add words (either dictated or self-written).
→ Create a cover page with the title: My ________.
→ Share the story with your special someone!
Add words (either dictated or self-written), create a cover page with the title: My ______, and share the story with your special someone!
